Crew members are grumbling even more because MacKinnon, who also choreographed the sexy shoot, isn't even American.
"She is an Australian working courtesy of a work visa, taking away American jobs, [while] SAG is already on strike against commercial producers," said one snitch.
A Baywatch rep confirmed the video shoot but claimed, "The three girls did it as a favor for the music director. We don't know anything about it and don't know what the SAG situation is."
Regarding Ledford and MacKinnon's position on the show, the rep said: "[The show's producers] are going in a different direction. They're trying to make Baywatch have more storylines. Some characters were added. Some were dropped..." ... full story

David Chokachi:
About his character:
"Jake is an ex-professional big wave surfer
who was making a living at it until he had a
really bad accident that spooked him. He
decides to get out of it and moves to New
York to become a police detective. He's a
great character. In the movie, everybody is
real serious. Jake brings a sense of levity."
About Witchblade:
"I think people are going be completely
reeled in. The film has many different
elements: mystery, action and fantasy."
The movie is directed by Armand Mastroianni and also starring are Daryl Hannah, Byron Lawson, Gregory Harrison, Bill Nikolai and Doug Savant.
It will be aired October 15th on TBS.
Brandy Ledford: 'Thanks to all may fans who continue to check this site. I'll promisse you'll see the changes soon!'
Here is what Simmone had to say about it. "Lithuania was fantastic .We had an unbelievably good shoot...I'm the female
lead.....I play a goody and a bady......I play a dual role. His first love and his last." "Its looking fantastic, I've
been sitting in with some of the editing and it's just looking very very cool.....if I do say so myself."

Baywatch babe Yasmine Bleeth was arrested and briefly detained Monday night after a pal threw a beer
bottle at a cop car. Bodacious Bleeth, who stars in Aaron Spelling's new soap, Titans, had been partying
with pals at Moomba's karaoke night. Apparently, Bleeth and two guy friends were still in high spirits when
they left the Manhattan club late at night. They got into a taxi, but the driver noticed one fellow had
a bottle of beer with him and said he wasn't going anywhere till they got rid of it. Bleeth's friend
then carelessly hurled it out the window — and onto a passing cop car, whose occupants were not amused.
The officers stopped the cab and made Bleeth and the others get out. One eyewitness says they were all
cuffed and put into the back of the cruiser. They were moments away from being taken to Central Booking
to spend the night in jail. Luckily, Bleeth was able to talk her way out of the jam and convinced the
cops to let her go, though they detained the guy who had actually thrown the beer. "She was never cuffed,"
insists Bleeth's rep, Leslie Sloane. "She showed the cops ID and they let her go. They even asked her if
she wanted them to take her home." By the way, Sloane tells us Bleeth is single.

Roderick will play the new female lead, Leigh Dyer. According to show executives, Roderick auditioned
for a smaller role that was expanded after she excelled during the screen test.
Roderick's character is a lifeguard recruited by male lead Sean Monroe (Jason Brooks) for the "Baywatch
Hawaii" lifeguard service and school.
Well-worn coffee mugs and several yellow legal pads cluttered the
conference table in the post-production trailer at the Diamond
Head Studio.
Frank South, symbolically at the head of the table, leaned back in his leather
executive chair. To his right, Frederick Rappaport, seated facing a wall-size
dry-erase board filled with action-packed scene descriptions, briefed South
on what he’s missed.
“We begin with this sexual tension between Kekoa and J.D. — this is Act II,”
Rappaport said excitedly. “It’s like the morning after sex, but without the sex.”
As the afternoon wanes, Episode 6 of next season’s “Baywatch Hawaii” unfolds,
revealing a brand-new script philosophy and purpose. “It’s going to be
straight-up, a more character-driven show,” said South, the show’s
co-executive producer and head writer. “There’ll still be action and excitement —
and these people still aren’t hard to look at. But they’ll also have much more
complex emotional lives than you’d ever expect.” South was asked to take on
the task of redefining the show by Pearson Television, its owners, because of his
success on character-driven dramas such as “Cagney & Lacey” and “Melrose Place.”
The veteran rookies The crew consists of South, supervising producer
Rappaport, writers Andre and Marie Jacquemetton and story editor Kris Dobkin.
Script coordinator Kauila, who uses only his first name professionally, returns for
his second season. Hawaiiana expert George S. Kanahele is on board to advise, as well.
Since February, the writing team has been meeting five days a
week, typically from 9 a.m. to around 6 p.m. They have completed
scripts for five episodes, including the season debut.
“I think this group is becoming the real-life version of the team
we’re trying to create on the show,” said Rappaport, who worked
with South on “Melrose Place” and “Cagney & Lacey.” “We’re
making teamwork sexy.”
The writing team brainstorms stories, then works separately on
individual episodes. Each writer creates outlines and drafts of
specific episodes, which the entire team reads and approves.
Filming begins in June, and the writers expect to finish all the
scripts for next season in September.
“It’s one of the hardest shows (I’ve ever worked on),” South said.
“But I’ll tell you, it’s been the most pleasurable. . . . You want to
passionately remain true to this place and these characters. And
there’s a lot of pressures to go in the other direction.”
Working for a series in its 12th season (the second as “Baywatch
Hawaii”) with 1 billion viewers tuning in each week in 140
countries, the challenge is keeping the show fresh ... more
